The practice had tried kiosk in the past, granted with older eCW version, without much success. Our waiting room is not large and we can have 20+ patients checking in within an hour. The Kiosk are not a good fit for us. The ability to have the info in our system prior to check in, ideally prior to chart prep, is ideal for us.
We have not upgraded to v12 yet and I do not have knowledge of the features related to intake. I am new to eCW, just over a year, and struggle with gaining knowledge about what is in upgrades. We use eCW for support and I have tried to patiently search the support site without a whole lot of luck.
Do you use eCW support? If so, what have you found as the best way to obtain concise information about what is included in upgrades?

Thank you for sharing Suzann. It is always nice to know what is working. I am curious if you explored any of the Healow options to accomplish what Mozart is doing for you. We just went live on Version 12 and had been waiting for that so that we could implement some of the enhancements with Healow. We are planning to use their check-in kiosk workflow and are hopeful (yet a bit skeptical) that it will help our registration process. The integration piece is intriguing because eCW is not the most integration-friendly EHR.
