  • 1.  ECW and Surgery Orders

    Does anyone currently use ECW alone for surgery orders that would be willing to share some guidance on what your process (from surgical decision to schedule) is? We are currently using paper orders and then those get logged into ECW (as a TE) and Surgimate and are looking to be completely digital.

    Amanda,

     

    Some of our physicians use ECW for surgery orders. The provider types all the info into a TE (telephone encounter) and assign it to the care coordinator (scheduler).
