DHS perspective- separating XRay technical from professional fee (read) component

    Hello-  We currently bill our XRay technical and professional component (read) together.  From a DHS perspective, we then split the profit margins equally among the physician group practice.  My question for the group is if this is best practice or do any practices have the physician bill the professional component separately since they are personally performing the work?  Thank you.
